We’re all desperately coping with the last weekend break of the 6 Nations, but ‘In the Bin’ rugby pod is here to tide you over!

As always, winter can bring us ‘the best of times, or the worst of times’. And while the ice melts, players are ready to run off the cobwebs–just as Last Word on Rugby is ready to report on all the best & brightest in our sport.

Ah, we love this game!

Big Story Roundup

In the news this week, Eddie Jones gets abused by drunken morons after the Scotland game in scenes more unsavoury than ‘Chocolate week’ on the Great British Bake Off. We also ask if George North’s career may be taking a new direction as his relationship with Alan Gaffney goes south.

Domestic Rugby Recap

In the Premiership, Exeter got back to winning ways against Saracens. The best behaved wing partnership in the league destroy the Saints. Gloucester keep Gloucestering…..

The snow wreaked havoc with the entire domestic Pro 14 fixture list, as a flurry of games were iced. Remarkably, South Africa escaped the adverse weather conditions…the benefits of Pro14 evident again!

‘In the Bin’ rugby pod discovers the Pro 14 Truth – SA home fortress

Although Connacht escaped the beast from the East, they could not contain the beasts from Bloemfontein as the Cheetahs ran out winners in a tight contest.

In the only other Pro 14 game played, the Southern Kings actually won a game! Yes, I repeat, the Kings won a game!! They picked up their first win by slaying the Dragons in a thrashing at home.

‘you see, Andy and Paddy can solve rugby riddles’.

6 Nations – Round Four will be Fantastic

We will look ahead to round four of the 6Nations this weekend, where a rejuvenated Scotland head to Dublin in the clash of the weekend.

England must lift, and travel to France. Possibly, all they need is a good laugh, but in all truth they are trying to keep their championship hopes alive.

While somewhere in the frozen valleys, Wales entertain Italy…..but must beware of the banana skin.

‘In the Bin’ rugby pod then enjoy our regular features: try of the week, hit of the week and Bin Juice.

Finally, we finish off with our predictions with Paddy stealing a narrow victory in the last round and some mind games between the hosts for the 6 Nations games!
